The 90s
Marie Ranoia Alonso ’90 is director of public and media relations for Miles Technologies of Moorestown. She also serves on the P.I.L.O.T. Services board of directors. The organization aids people with developmental disabilities.

and Tadd Kozeniewski ’90 announce the Aug. 16 birth of Casey Stephen. He joins Emily, 8, and Sean, 4.

Manuel A. Pataca ’90 (Delta Kappa Epsilon) is an executive sales representative for Shire Pharmaceuticals. He was the number one representative in the United States in net profit in 2005 and the number two representative in market share increase in 2006.

Cindy Engrassia Stancavish ’90 and her husband, Don, and their daughter, Sarah, have moved to Red Oak, N.C. She is a vice president, marketing, for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

Kathy Corbalis M’91 was elected to a second term as District 1 director of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations. She is the executive director of communications and college relations at Atlantic Cape Community College. She is pursuing a certificate in fund raising at the University of Pennsylvania College of General Studies. Kathy lives in Glassboro.

Amy Jordan Carpinelli ’91 earned a master’s degree in geoscience at Mississippi State University. She was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and was asked to contribute a sample lesson for the January 2008 edition of The Science Teacher. Amy and her husband, Ken ’91, M’93, will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary in October. They have a daughter, Rachel.

Richard E. Wright Jr. ’91 is chief financial officer of Middletown Township.

Floyd Jones ’91 directed a feature-length movie called “Bum Man—Hero of the Homeless.” It is playing the festival circuit and is available at Amazon.

Lisa MacDonald ’91 is first captain of the Clayton Police Department. She is engaged to Jim Butch.

Rick Alcantara ’92 received national awards from the Web Marketing Association and MarCom Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The awards were for websites his firm created for ABCO Federal Credit Union and Cooper Levenson. He is the founder and principal of Tara Communications LLC.

Glenn Kass ’92 is the new events and promotions director for Moline Centre Partners at Moline Centre in Illinois. Kass markets businesses within the facility and seeks investments to develop events that showcase the city and provide training and educational opportunities for area businesses. Kass spent three seasons with the Quad-City Steamwheelers of the Arena Football League 2 as sales manager for group and season tickets. Before that, he worked for the Quad-City Times in several marketing positions. Kass, a Millburn native, lives in Moline and has three children, Ryan, Lauren and Emma.

Jennifer Ciesla Kline ’92 announces the May 8, 2007, birth of Ryan Thomas. He joins Owen Thomas, 4.

Don Mennig ’92 is executive director of marketing for Advertising Specialty Institute, a media and marketing organization.

Tiffany Crescenzi Peterson ’92 earned her doctorate in education and leadership from the University of Phoenix.

Randy Ryerson ’92, M’97 and his wife, Diana, announce the birth of their first child, Michael. Randy is director of corporate communications for Penske.

John Short ’92 is the assistant branch manager, associate vice president for investments and a trust specialist for AG Edwards & Sons in Northfield. He and his wife, Donna, have one daughter, Brittany.

Lisa Haneke Calabrese ’93 (Phi Sigma Sigma) and Michael Calabrese Jr. were married on Oct. 13. Lisa is a special education teacher in Manalapan. The couple live in Brick.

Katie Galasso ’93 earned a master’s degree in behavioral sciences from Bastyr University.
Martin “Louie” Nye ’93 is the head baseball coach and a substitute teacher at Somerdale Park Elementary School.

Sue Shilling Ottenberg ’93 and her husband, Howard Ottenberg, married in June 2007. She is a sports update anchor for 610 WIP-AM in Philadelphia and an on-air personality for 103.7 WMGM-FM in the Atlantic City area.

Kinna Perry ’93 is associate dean for student affairs at the College of Nursing at Rutgers University.

Paul Spaventa M’93 is superintendent of the Gloucester City School District.

Rick Vazquez ’93 was interviewed on “The Big Show with Scott & Todd,” a morning radio program on 95.5 WPLJ-FM in New York City, about his new book, The Pizza Delivery Millionaire.

Wendi Archer ’94 owns Priority Payroll in Williamstown.

Maureen Barrett ’94, M’03 was one of 24 teachers who took part in a 10-day study tour of the Galapagos Islands in October through the Toyota International Teacher Program.

Marisa Sharkey ’94, M’00 is vice president of JFK Communications Inc. in Princeton.

Meredith Smith ’94 is regional human resources manger for SMG. She resides in Egg Harbor Township with her husband, David, and son, Casey.

Danielle A. Diamond Wood ’94 and Eric W. Wood Sr. married on Oct. 6, 2006. Danielle is an intellectual property paralegal for Dilworth Paxson LLP in Philadelphia.

Kim Jennings Bialecki ’95 and her husband, Chris, announce the Dec. 3 birth of Blake Christopher. He was welcomed by Mia. Kim is manager of sales training for the critical and supportive care division at GlaxoSmithKline where she has worked for 11 years.

Kristin P. O’Neil-Greco ’95, M’00, her husband, James, and son, Cameron, welcomed twins Kyler Paige and Carter Jacob on Dec. 31. Kristin is an elementary school principal at Green-Fields Elementary School in West Deptford and an adjunct professor at Salem Community College. She will graduate from Widener University with a doctorate in Educational Leadership in fall 2008.

Kathy Yurkonis Bell ’95 is vice president of the internal communications team at Commerce Bank in Mount Laurel. Kathy, her husband, Jim, and their son, Charlie, live in Gloucester Township.

Jennifer Johnston M’95 received a Pepperpot Ladle Award from the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America in December. She also won a platinum award in the League of American Communications Professionals’ Spotlight Awards program. Her entry placed in the top 100 submissions in this international awards competition. Jennifer is a marketing communications manager at Christiana Care Health System.

Jane O’Neill Ouano ’95 (Alpha Epsilon Phi) and her husband, Eric, announce the May 21 birth of Avery Katherine. She joins Ally, 3. Jane is a marketing director. The family resides in Tinton Falls.

Colleen Shearer ’95 is the assistant woman’s lacrosse coach at the University of Virginia. She and her husband, Matt, have one daughter, Mattison Elizabeth, 4.

Umut Urfali ’96 is regional sales and marketing manager of DuPont Titanium Technologies in Istanbul. He earned Six Sigma Black Belt certification at DuPont. He and his wife, Elif, live in Turkey.

Sandra Maresca ’96 earned a master’s degree in education from Walden University in December. She teaches computer technology proficiency at Conackamack Middle School in Piscataway.

Debra E. Neill ’96 is pastor of the Weymouth United Methodist Church.

Doug Fearon M’97 is managing director at The Rosen Group, a human resources firm in Voorhees.

Katrina “Kate” Stier ’97 won the national title of Mrs. American Queen 2007. She is a graduate student in the public relations master’s program. She also works for Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia. Kate and her husband, Scott, live in Gloucester County.

Jacob Farbman ’98, M’99 received the 2007 Anthony Fulginiti Outstanding Public Relations Educator Award from the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He is the director of communications for the New Jersey Council of County Colleges and an adjunct professor of communication studies at The College of New Jersey. Jacob lives in Mount Laurel.

Stephanie Gennaro Mason ’98 (Phi Sigma Sigma) and her husband, Chris, announce the April 18, 2007, birth of McKenzie Ann. She joins Ty, 3. She congratulates her sorority sister Linda Galtman Deal ’00 on her new arrival, Jamie.

Jodie Marie Pilla ’98 married Stephen Michael Pilla on June 29, 2007. Jodie is an administrative assistant for MSR Imports Inc., Pennsauken.

Frannie Pitarresi Schoch ’98 (Delta Zeta) married Toby Schoch on June 24, 2006. Frannie is a fourth-grade teacher in Garfield. She earned a master’s degree in administration and supervision from St. Peter’s University and is pursuing a master’s degree in reading. The couple reside in Mahwah.

Troy Watkins M’98 is editor of Assumption College Magazine and director of development publications at Assumption College in Worcester, Mass. Troy and his wife, Maureen, and their children, Kayley, 7, and Colby, 4, live in Millbury, Mass.

Jaime Auletto Grooket ’99 and her husband, Tom, announce the Jan. 9 birth of Thomas Wister. He joins Ava, 2.

Dani Delaney Harkins ’99, M’06 (Alpha Epsilon Phi) and Eric Harkins ’98 (Tau Kappa Epsilon) announce the Aug. 2 birth of Ava Victoria.

Kristen Hibbard-Ludman ’99 and Matthew Ludman ’98 announce the May 26 birth of Brody Paul. He joins Nolan, 3. Both Kristen and Matthew are teachers in Pemberton Township. The family lives in Marlton.

John Howey ’99 is engaged to Kristi Di Leo. They plan an October wedding. John works at Vertical Screen in Marlton.

Brian Kerico ’99 is a forensic accountant in Philadelphia. He is engaged to Alysha Trocell and they plan to marry in June.

Becky Long Staffieri ’99 is a marketing specialist for The Rosen Group, a human resources firm in Voorhees.

Omari Thomas ’99 and his wife, Rochell, announce the Aug. 8 birth of Arden Reagan. Omari is a financial advisor.

Shae L. Sperry Watson ’99 (Alpha Epsilon Phi) and Erik J. Watson were married in Mexico in December. Jennifer Latwinas Eggers ’99 (Alpha Epsilon Phi) served as bridesmaid. Shae and Erik live in Frisco, N.C., on Hatteras Island. Shae is the reservations sales manager for Surf or Sound Realty specializing in luxury vacation rentals on Hatteras Island, part of the Outer Banks.
